Editorial submission policy

In an effort to give voices to groups and individuals who have the best interest of Starkville at heart, Starkville Now offers a section called Voices where we publish editorials. Editorials are solicited from community leaders, innovative thinkers and influential residents, and we also accept some submissions from other interested individuals.

The editorials become the property of Starkville Now, and Starkville Now reserves the right to edit these as needed. No money or services are exchanged in return for editorials. As this is an opportunity for the pubic to speak out, Starkville Now does not edit the content or message of these submissions. Edits are made for grammar, clarity, spelling, objectionable language, etc. Starkville Now can reject an editorial based on its content. Such an editorial will be returned to the person who submitted it, and Starkville Now does not have to justify the reason.
