A 21-year-old Starkville man is now facing trial in connection with the late February shooting of a man that stemmed from a conflict at a nightclub in another county.
Dionte Doss, whose last known address was 709 Roundhouse Road, was arraigned in Oktibbeha County Circuit Court Tuesday on a Grand Jury indictment on charges of aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling in connection with the Feb. 27 shooting of a 23-year-old man outside his North Montgomery Street apartment.
Bond for Doss was set at $50,000 during his arraignment hearing on Tuesday.
Another man — Antonio Rodrigues Hart, 29, of 508 Inca Drive — was arrested along with Doss in connection with the February shooting, but information on whether he has been indicted by the Grand Jury has not yet been made public.
