Cadence should be laying off the executives who got them into this mess; but it looks like they are going to throw everyone else under the bus.
The two reports are not necessarily at odds. The Dispatch appears to limit its reference of 9 workers to those in the Golden Triangle branches. It states, “Cadence Bank could layoff as many as nine employees from its 11 Golden Triangle branches, a company spokesman said today.”
