The piece was meant in good fun, but I really don't cotton with all those competitive bbqing events and their silly rules about spare ribs and dry rubs. MY BBQ preferences are variable (but no brisket thank you). I like Interstate but not Rendezvous. I like Archebald & Woodrows' in Northport but not any version of Dreamland ever. Come on man, MS surely has to have a complex about Memphis the biggest city in "MS"; it almost seems like MS has become the land that BBQ critics forgot. See John T. Edge's Southern Belly for starters. Note the BBQ I pictured was a fine product from right here in Oktibbeha county and not from Alabama at all.
