If a person only watches or reads news from outlets in which he/she agrees, then a person only gets one side of the news. I watch CNN and FoxNews because I like to see what each says about the same topic. I like to read informative news, not just news I agree with. I also read the Clarion Ledger because they do give a certain side to the story that I can’t get anywhere else.

Robbie C – you do a great job of reporting and I appreciate what you are doing for our community. I don’t always agree with you when you write an opinion piece – but that is the purpose of an opinion piece, to give your opinion.

Well, it looks as though Camp is guilty of having a staff that does not know what they are doing when it comes to “Is he the mayor or ain’t he the mayor?”. Glad to know the adults are in charge at least until midnight Sunday. That’s not to say Wiseman won’t do a good job. I am looking forward to the next four years with great anticipation.

What difference does it make if Dan did decide to leave a few days early? Why are you speculating and fishing for an answer? At least Dan legitimately issued the veto on the P and Z appointment before he left. Starkville’s citizens deserve fair treatment when they come before city officials whether those officals are elected or appointed. I don’t think they can get that from a quasi-reporter.
