Which is exactly why we should be doing everything possible to ensure EVERYONE fills out a census form. If you live in Starkville, student or not, FILL OUT THE FORM!!!! If you are in anyway using city services (i.e. driving on our roads) fill out the form. This is one of the pivotal means on how distribution of government funds is decided. FILL OUT THE FORM – MAKE IT OFFICIAL! This holds true for the entire Golden Triangle Region. We need the county residents and city residents and students of MSU and MUW to stand up and be counted, only then will the region get the financial and political support from the state that we need.

Obviously bigger is not better Lola.

Just look at the horrors of Tupelo, Tuscaloosa, and Jackson have experienced for having populations over 25000.

Obviously for Starkville to survive fiscally and socially, we have to SHRINK.

This news is only a slight positive for Starkville. We need these other cities that make up the Golden Triangle to grow as well. Further, as good as the rest of the state does the better Starkville will be.
