Jim Jones, director of campus planning at MSU, spoke to the Rotarians yesterday. Some nuggets of truth from his speech:
A new campus “village” will be built on the south side of campus, to mirror the new northeast dorm/village.
The budget for the South Montgomery/MSU connector is seriously over budget. ($5 million on hand, $11-$12 million needed)
Cars will be outlawed from the heart of campus as the Old MAin Plaza project continues.
The new HD board will NOT be ready in time for the first game.
