I’ve said it before. Starkville and Oktibbeha County have an incredible, unprecedented opportunity. A new president at MSU. A new GSDP CEO. (Probably) a new mayor and different BOA in the next 12 months or so. And new supers for Starkville and Oktibbeha County schools.
No where is that more evident than in this article from the Dispatch.
I can not recall a time when the heads of the two school systems sat in the same room, much less with the NAACP, to discuss the future of education in a productive manner. Wow.
Hopefully this is the first step in improvement for both systems.
